Muffler delete sound tunning

Hello everyone,
I got a muffler delete on today and I do have a j-pipe. I left resonators intact and have stock DP as well.

I am thrilled with the sound overall, however around the 25-2800 rpm mark there’s a bit of drone. It’s gone quick on accel and decel but I’m interested to see if anyone’s attempted to mess with a delete to modulate the sound a bit?

I have an MPE I took off the car because it wasn’t aggressive enough. I don’t want another system since they all sound waaaay less than I want. Like i said I’ll live with it no problem but I think it’s be somewhat interesting if there were techniques to tweak out some of the drone (I don’t want it all gone either).

Thoughts?

Okay so driving when it wasn’t so hot was incredible. I know heat has a lot to due with sound since the j pipe equation for drone is temperature dependent. I believe my next step is a second in-line vibrant resonator. A couple decibels off at 2-3k range would even be perfect, not looking for a huge change.

My plan is to delete the muffler and weld 2 resonators right off the Ypipe in between that and the tips

That was likely my next plan of this one larger res doesn’t solve it. They’re cheap enough that all said and done I’ll still be way under budget. The res I have on the way I think should do the trick on the low end drone without taking away the shift sounds, crackle, or accel sounds that I’m 100% in love with.
