Those are really nice tips! Do you also have carbon fiber on the inside of the car too?

Thanks guys. The simple upgrades have addressed what I think are the few shortcomings of the car. Now it's got the spring rate, stance, and exhaust note it deserves.

The carbon fibre tips are straight from the M Performance parts catalog. With the MPE, you can choose between polished tips or CF tips.

I was going to ask, if you could notice a difference in the exhaust note. Does the increased note reverberate both inside and outside of the ride...or does the active sound still sound the same before you changed the tips?

I noticed you're in Canada. Where did you get the H&R springs and spacers from? I'm interested in doing the same. Also, how's the ride vs. stock, I assume it would be firmer?

Just to be clear... the change in exhaust note comes from the actual M Performance exhaust (well, muffler), not the tips. The exhaust note is definitely deeper and growlier outside - the overrun pops and burbles are also a lot louder. From inside the cabin, you can hear the difference with the windows open. Windows closed, though, the change a lot less noticeable.

Because the springs I got are the version with 15mm lowering (rather than the version with 25mm lowering H&R sells in North America), they had to be special ordered from H&R Germany. Took about 6 weeks. I placed the order through a local H&R distributor here in the West Coast - RPI Equipped. The ride, as expected, is a little more choppy on rough roads due to the higher spring rate and reduced damper travel, but still very liveable. The upside is that body motions feel better controlled when the dampers are in Sport mode.

The spacers I bought from Apex Race Parts, but there are many brands to choose from. Lots of guys here have put various types of spacers on.

Looks really good. I'm getting MR as well and planning to keep the look semi stock. Glad a few upgrades can help the car look and drive better.

I've always been a big fan of the OEM+ look. It's all in the details!
