Looks great! Maybe it's the photo angle, but something about the rear wheel/quarter panel looks a little odd. The front fascia looks awesome.

I agree, the front fascia looks sick. The rear, well, hard to say given the angle. Would love to see and drive the beast. Way better styling than BMW and motor for that matter.

Want. Mercedes knocked the coupe out the ballpark. Hope the C coupe follow in it's foot steps.

The S63 AMG coupe is only $150k though, so for slightly less power you're saving $80k.

Love the styling! Just wish MB would release their cars with MTs again.

I'd be very surprised if we ever saw an MB with a manual gearbox ever again. I think the manual gearbox is about to be permanently retired by the entire automotive industry very soon.

I'll die a little inside when that happens. It will certainly happen in the US first. It's shocking how few people in this country can't drive stick.

While the ratio of MT to AT is low, I think we're seeing even less MT not because people can't drive stick, it's because it has become a hassle. Taking the GTA for example, it is absolutely ridiculous how much construction has recently started where you just don't want to bother because I can say that driving today has slowly become a hassle to the point where people don't want to be on the road more than they have to, get in a car and get from point A to point B as fast as you can.

I know for me, there is a strong possibility that the next car will have an AT because the roads here just suck.

MB makes horrible manual transmissions. There will always be a market for them in small, basic cars though. Boxsters, Caymans, Miatas, Minis, Alfa 4C, oops, not that last one. Losers.

A new-age Benz with a manual doesn't even make sense to me.

One of the cars I learned to drive on was an old Merc manual. It was my grandfathers car. I loved the thing. He wanted to teach me to drive stick before I learned how to drive. I really wish I could remember what it was. I wasn't concerned with model names/numbers back then, though retrospectively I wish I had been. Best I can figure from looking at pictures is that it was an old 280SL. My memory is foggy though, I cant really even remember what it looked like. I only remember little details like the shifter, the steering wheel, the air vent nozzles, the front grilles and head lamps, and the seats, and it was brown. It was ALL brown. Memories.

It's the root of my desire. I'd love MB to make a car like that again.

Looks nice. It's a little pricey. Then again, I'm not really their target demographic so my opinion means jack.

I agree with this, I feel the Bentley has looked almost the same for quite some time. I think this would be a great alternative.
