Efficient Dynamics on cluster

Hi I have noticed in videos I have watched and in some pictures, that some people have Efficient Dynamics with the MPG and the Battery symbol on the bottom of the Tach above the M235i logo on the instrument cluster.. is this something that you have to setup via the settings?
