My oyster interior M235 is supposed to be here tomorrow. If it arrives I'll post pics. Although only the MY 14' is solid oyster. MY 15 is oyster/black, much better IMHO.

Do you have an indication that they are offering oyster/black in MY2015 on the M235i in the U.S.? MY 2014 is oyster/oyster only.

While not confirmed to the US, I don't see why it wouldn't. It has already shown up in UK/German configurator, and they had the same interior color options as us (well they had the additional blue alcantera). If those are going to have it, it would make sense for the US to have it.

Just went to the UK configurator for the M235i and they only have oyster/oyster. In any event, I don't want to stray too far from the original question this threads asks.

The interesting thing regarding Oyster is that on the BMWUSA site it shows the area around the shifter to be all BLACK and not just the boot and buttons around the shiter. The way the website has it is how I would like it to be.

Rumples, That looks great! It looks like the left foot rest on your car is plastic whereas all the pictures and written descriptions I've seen it should be an aluminum or some kind of metal plate. Can anyone comment on this?

I have close to oyster (lemon or beige or something like that) and black in my 128 and love it. Wanted it in the 235 but I passed on the oyster cause......there is way to much of it. No bueno on the light carpet.....so I went with coral red instead

This is a link to a forum members thread who was somehow able to get the Modern Line trim here in the US. It has the oyster on black interior and I think it looks amazing. I think the full oyster interior looks really nice too but there's no way I'd ever be able to keep it clean.

the weird thing is that the US configurator shows oyster/black on the non m-sport 228i, at least a few weeks ago. M235i and 228i m-sport show oyster/oyster

i believe it has always been like this. If you get M sport, you are severely limited to interior and exterior colors... which is extremely stupid IMO

Got talked out of it because everyone told me it was hard to maintain and required a lot of cleaning. I know myself...I'm pretty lazy. Went with CR
