Tire Noise
Hello !
Just picked up 2022 228ix GC. Not my first BMW; had M3, M5, X3, older 840ci. My issue is tire rotation noise; mostly from the front. I've had plenty of RunFlats in my day without issues, but its not a whine more deeper. Anyone else? Robert |

My Pirelli summer run flats were noisy from the get go and only got worse as they aged. I eventually replaced them with Bridgestone Driveguards and couldn't be happier. The Bridgestones are really quiet.

I'd never noticed this until I took a road trip with the wife. Our tastes in music are very different, and I finally got to listen to the car with no music playing. FAIL! Those tires are tolerable only on the smoothest of surfaces; otherwise, I feel like I'm inside a drum.

My knobby Blizzaks absolutely howl on the highway compared to the PS4S summers.
It wouldn't hurt to check your wheel bearing if it seems to come from one side/corner, but a 22' shouldn't have to worry about those for a long time. manufacturer defects aren't unheard of. It would be under warranty anyways. |

I did check and it does have that fender/door seal folks mentioned on other threads. Perhaps its just the tires? |
