Rear facing car seat
Anyone try putting a rear facing car seat in an M235? Any success or wish they didn't?
I'm considering getting one (the M235) but wonder if I can even try this or wait until my kid is a bit older, or settle for sedan. |

I had the same question before buying.
Try using this to decide what you think will work best for your situation: https://www.cars.com/articles/2015-b...1420680861379/ Rear facing seats don't appear to fit well but I have no personal experience. http://csftl.org/battle-of-the-infant-seats/ The Cybex Aton was the smallest seat made in 2013. I'm not sure what would be the best choice now. Car seats have expiration dates (seems odd) so you'd need a newer model to be in compliance. If anyone knows of a current one that's compact let me know what it is. |

I have a Graco that fits JUST right in the back seat with the front passenger seat pulled all the way forward. But yes, I would get the smallest seat (in terms of distance along the length of the car.

I struggle with these priorities. Not all infant seats are the same. Check Consumer Reports or similar and buy the seat which provides the best crash protection for your child. Then, figure out what car you can buy and fit it in.

yep, mine is a good one... however I only use it in the 235 on rare occasions. Else the little one always travels in the SUV. Easier to put him in and out. His 7 year old brother loves the 235!!
