The wait is over!! 228i MSport

Was finally able to pick her up tonight. Just took a few pics before we lost the sun. I'll see if I can get some better ones when we get a nice day.

Not very, we were trying to keep it relatively budget, but only a few minor regrets I think we found a nice sweet spot.

I wasn't expecting to get the M badges on the door sill, dead pedal and rims though. So that's fun. I had actually tried to get the Sport rims, but the dealer didn't have any.

Looks great. It is interesting that a 228i MSport looks 100% like an M235i except for a few M badges.

Where are the M badges on your rims?

Also, was the dealer going to let you straight up swap your m-sport rims for the sport line if they were available (I assume that's what you were referring to)?

Great looking car - congrats.

Yeah, I asked them when I ordered, figured it was a long shot. But they said it'll be based on availability. But with this being such a new car, it was a longshot.

The M badge is in the same spot as on the 235 rims. Just off the bmw emblem.

Here, it's upside down, but you can see where it's at.

Look fantastic. I like the bright silver wheels better than the M235. Enjoy

The only exterior differentiation between the two are the wheels and tires, exhaust, and of course, the badge.

Yeah, as much as I liked the sport line ones ,these are definitely growing on me. And I gotta say, every time I see the car I'm blown away at how much better it looks in person.

Also saw my first 2 series on the street yesterday. Was just a basic 228i. Looked like the one I test drove.
