My MG M235i with performance digital wheel
Made the 200mile drive down to tunbridge wells today to pick up my m235i and could not be happier with both the car and the service.
Lady who went through paper work was very friendly and helpful, as was the guy who went through all the tyre cover etc etc. Then it was on to the bmw genius (who remembered me from my test drive a month ago) Car was roped off, with a sign showing it was waiting for me. From the moment I saw it I knew I'd made the right choice in colour! The thing just looked amazing. The guy fired it up and rolled it outside and the noise on start was epic! We went through controls and had a good play with the performance digital steering wheel. Tony and the franchise manager also made a special effort to come say hi before I went as well and have a look at the car etc. everyone loves the performance wheel lol! I then drove the 200 miles back, m25 - m1 and got 42mpg on the way home! I pretty much drove the whole way in Eco pro, messing with settings, stereo, sat nav etc. So, how do I feel? Over the moon! The car is amazing! Will do a proper update at the weekend but initial feelings: Bigger and smoother than the e82 Wide screen sat nav is amazing Full black panel is even better! Having turn by turn displayed down there is great! Xenon coronas look brilliant! Exhaust sounds quality! Gearbox is great, easy to drive in traffic and a joy to stick into manual. Throttle matching is a nice thing! Comfort access - love it. Seats - really comfy, especially with lumbar support The interior feels more spacious than the e82. Whole car feels bigger and more planted. |

Looks superb!
Went for the pedals too huh. Great sound, I know what you mean, my local dealer started up a showroom M135i fir my test drive in the showroom sounds awesome inside...and out. How do you find the wheel, pretty pricy option but looks nice.

I have also noticed the pedals, they look awesome (mine are in their way) but I have also noticed that you don't have the M Performance foot rest. I thought that was standard in the m235i...

Now that I'm unbanned, just have to say your car is coming along perfectly. Love the new wheel and because of you and your review, it's gonna be on my list of "must haves" when I order.
