Oh... look at that backend and the color and the small wheels. If that's the real non photoshopped version of the 2series they finally made a car for old men who want a sportscar.

Front is nice, but the back looks damn bourgeois!

It looks good for being a non M-Sport car. The back is pure BMW with the L tail lights.
Afterall it's a modern E82, with better proportion and a profile that flow so much netter.

The M-sport will look even better.

This has to be one of the worst colors ever for this/any sporty car. Why would they pick this color for any sort of photo shoot is beyond me, ha!

Here's to hoping the M2 gets a 6cyl and ridiculous fender flares, and the M3/4's differential!

Love how most of the negative comments are coming from 1 series coupe owners. So predictable.

To the objective non-1 series owner, this car should look better in almost every way.

i think the color is actually nice (orion silver i believe?), but there's something VERY wrong with the colors on these pictures. they make it look green-ish and totally weird. super girly color though.

Need to see it in flesh or at least better real life pics. I was hoping that it will look much better than this... (imo) the rear lights are hideous, the front lights are meh, it could look so much better but it's "just" a 2 series so it can't look as beautiful as the bigger and more expensive ones.
I hate the fact that there is no real alternative for me on the market. (RWD, small sporty car, 4 doors -gran coupe-, 6MT, 6cylinder engine, good looking...) Maybe the M-Version or the LCI can improve it, but I don't think so...

PS: For me, that has nothing to do with the last 1 series, I like the coupe, except for the headlights and the interior. I got the 1 series hatch. (which looks worse..)

Have to assume that it swings out rather than straight up.

Yep... literally can't think of a single thing on the 1 series that I like more than what we are seeing of the 2 series...

We'll shed a few tears for you

Now back to business. While I'd only be interested in bright colors, this car is going to look freaken sexy in black, and I don't usually like black cars.

I love this car and the idea of this car, but man, those tail lights just look bloated. On this size car, I would rather have seen thinner sleeker ones like the E92, something modernized of course. These would have matched the headlights much better. So, the roof line and taillights are the only real issues I have with it. I can't wait to see one in real life.
