Not sure there's any reason not to post this in the tire sub forum.

As BEM-S4 noted, this belongs in the Wheels & Tires subforum.

This also needs to have several other tires represented on it unless the OP has narrowed the available choices down to these three -- which I personally doubt since 1). may not be available anymore because the Pilot Sport 4S is replacing it, and if the OP did any research he'd know this.

Also, this: So Pirelli makes a tire that's called the P But? :: ducking ::

It's been moved to the tire section. OP please try to select the correct subforum next time.

Btw... I think you should go with 225/245 tires. Or even 225/255's. Aren't your wheels of different widths? 7.5j and 8.5j. ?

Michelin PS4S are replacing the PSS. Maybe you can get a deal on PSS's if you hurry.

Not including the new Conti's on this seems wrong - I see some reviews placing them equal to- or perhaps a bit better than the MPSS/MP4S (at least in the wet). I'm a confessed fan of Conti's, so not at all objective here, but that would be my vote.

i like the MPSS, i know the 4's are replacing them but according to my local tire shop there really isn't too much difference...

and i was reading that MPSS do better than the contis in every category except for price? unless there are some new reviews out somewhere.

don't mean to thread high jack but if i switched from the 225/245 stock set up to 235 square all around (went to an 18x8.5 wheel all around) would i "lose" traction? Considering going to the dinan stage 1 tune..

I don't think the MPS4 comes out in 18 until next year.

I think Grassroots Motorsports just ran a comparo that favored the Contis in the wet (and perhaps dry braking?) but pretty close overall. Also somebody posted other euro articles on here with similar findings - DK specific links but should turn up if you care to search them out. Probably all within the range of 'just noticeable', but for a DD I prefer to have a little more wet traction, since that is more likely to be avoiding an accident (and my own brand loyalty). Wear estimates seem to be all over the board for both - some cry about wearing out under 10k, others feel they are far superior (and for both types, so you can find both Conti and MPSS fans or haters); my last car wore conti extremes that wore like iron, but my wife's DWS's are almost done at about 28k.
