Yes, these are M performance pedals.
They are not very hard to install if you use a corded drill with quality bits.

I originally was not planning on getting the adaptive suspension and I added Track Package because that was the only way to get M brakes.
Now I love the feel of the adaptive supension and the quicker steering ratio setting when set to sport mode.
It is the best combination of comfort and athletic feel.

I've just finished putting my first mode and it made look great from the inside.
pics and cars!
How was the metal foot rest installed? Did it need to be screwed in?

The metal foot rest comes standard with sport package in US so I did not have to install it.

Nice! I bet the more you drive the more you love it and learn it's true power. I have a few more days until mine arrives and I cannot wait to break her in!

I have my 228i (sport and track handling pkg) for a month now and have been enjoying and analyzing its performance intensely.after 500 miles of driving, I like the car a lot. I initially test drove a 2014 base as well as the m235. I chose the little brother as the weight difference gave it a nimbler character. I opted for the m track package to get more of the 235 I handling characteristics. I wonder now if indeed, it was necessary? My car hugs the road, has great steering (more so on sport mode) and a terrific driving feel. I say, necessary because with the m track package, it appears now that the car, on less than perfect roads (even in comfort mode) can get a "touch jittery in the ride, depending on the Tarmac at the time.(maybe still used to the mercedes "glide"?)
Also, I did not notice ( when testing the non m suspension car that I have a bit more 'road noise' than I thought with the larger Michelin pilot tires. So, as I drive now each day, I secretly yearn (sometimes) for a cinch softer ride and a touch less 'closeness' to the road surface.
Otherwise, most often it is a great fine vehicle and quite an eye opener at that!
If anyone has some comments.. Jump in.
