It is, but doesn't that go hand-in-hand with the busyness of the technology that's now either standard or on offer for contemporary motor vehicles. One reason I'd like to keep my car for the duration is to avoid the ever increasing amount of extraneous features our cars come loaded with.

However, I have full confidence that BMW knows exactly what it's doing when it rolls new and updated models out to buyers, both here in North America, in Europe, in China, and in the rest of the world. BMW is an excellent marketing company.

I had considered the new 2 but no manual, size and looks I just cannot get into. I have owned 17 BMW’s and for the first time since 1995 I have no desire to get the newer model. My 2014 M235 manual only has 21,000 miles and I’m buying a new hybrid Ford Maverick truck as my tool around vehicle. I think I actually prefer the pig nosed 4 series over the new 2. Hell, even the new Ford Bronco offers a manual transmission.

Im terribly biased as I love my m240i and I think that the best post 2007 3 series is the e92, but I still don’t think that the headlights are at all appropriate. The look like kia stonic base headlights. Bmw are meant to have 4 angel eyes not 2 kia stonic lights. The widebidy does look amazing on the new 2 series. However, I read that they have made the rear seats more crammed and the trunk smaller despite the car gaining size. That just doesn’t make any sense to me.

The front end is far too long and the green house far smaller. This is what bothers me the most with also the fatty fenders like M2. The more I look at it and I am not sure I would go for one.

At least, if it would not be that big, some of the design flaws would be less noticeable.

I have to say my favorite one is the F44, but of course I'm biased as I ordered it
The new 2 Coupe does look better than the old one though. The older one always seemed like a girly car, even with M2, the rear was still too soft.
But the new one, although the front lights are a bit different than what we're used to, it still looks good, sporty and elegant.
Especially props for BMW on making the rear properly wide in the normal models also. I do although think that the normal version looks better than the M-Sport, the normal kind of looks like what I would have imagined the M-Sport to look like
