I only feel bad about ONE thing, i wake up a little early (usually leave 630-7am) and on a cold start it is a tad louder for the first 30-60 seconds or so. Feel like I'm the neighborhood alarm clock, hope they don't hate me too much LOL
Definitely an alarm clock I'd prefer

Glad to know you're enjoying it!

where did you get the performance sticker on the side kit.

Almost a year later.....

I'm so glad that others are finding the same great results from the AWE product as I have!

This product is some of the best I've owned and I've gotten so many compliments on this car....the best is WOT, love the car and the exhaust.

My lease is almost up, and I may lease another one and put this exhaust on the new car!

AWE is definitely top notch. It's our top recommended exhaust.

Sure wish we (USA) could get those silver inserts for the side air ducts like the euro BMW's.

An update on the M235i exhaust...its anniversary!

Helloooo everyone!! I'm on vaca basking in the sun and thought what better than put a few words down on the exhaust.

In very simple words...I couldn't be happier with it! Cold starts are crazy throaty and later when in sport mode, it opens up enough to notice for power and sound! What's really fun when you get it gurglin! Put it in manual shift and sport mode. Then tap the gas at any cruising point when your foot is off the gas and the blue charge part was lit.

Anyway...call awe directly or any of their providers. Do it again in a heartbeat! Alright, time for me back to beach.

Hello all! I am interested in buying this exhaust. i see a few of you have HFC Catted Downpipes and mentioned just a tad bit louder; but does anyone have Catless downpipe with this exhaust?

**I was maybe thinking in just getting the axle back (keeping the stock resonator) and adding the Catless DP in not risking it being obnoxiously loud.

In terms of power, i don't think i'll gain any just from the axle back without AWE mid-pipe, but im sure the catless DP will make up for it.

In person would you say this is a deep tone, or a more higher pitched exhaust note?

just got mine a few days ago at supremepower (muffler and mid pipe). LOVE the exhaust. LOVE LOVE LOVE. the ONLY small thing is that it seems to have a LITTLE drone right at 3000RPM and only if there's a slight load. but this exhaust really does make a difference... sounds SO much better. now i'm afraid if i put a downpipe on, it'll be too loud

I have a little drone from 2.8 - 3k RPM as well, kind of annoying to be honest. Did yours mellow out at all?

Do you mind posting an interior sound vid of the drone? I thought that this exhaust was supposed to not have any drone. :/

I will post one when I get a chance. I will say though, I did code out the ASD, and that seems to have helped a lot. I am also going to check to ensure I don't have any leaks, etc.

Other than first and second gear around 3k, I hear no other traces of drone. AWE told me to give it a few hundred miles to break in before worrying too much.

Ah, okay. That's good to know. I plan on coding out ASD a day or so before I get the exhaust installed. That way I'll appreciate the new sound a bit more.

Anyone here just using the muffler? If so, what did the shop charge you for install? Debating between this or just picking up the midpipe and bolting on myself.
