Adaptive suspension/chassis on M240i

Hey guys,
I'm new here. I own a BMW 118d and looking to get a M240i from 2019 on the used market.
Looking at the different configurations available, I'm wondering if the M adaptive suspension/chassis is worth it? In the cars available at the moment, those with the adaptive chassis are quite a bit more expensive and with KMs to them.
So is it really worth it? What is it like compare to the standard M chassis? Is the standard chassis like the stiffest setting of the adaptive suspension? Or the softest or in the middle?
I'm more interested in having a stiffer car than a soft one and I will probably mod it a bit.So should I get the adaptive suspension or the standard one?

Thanks in advance for your help

Given your preferences, the MAdaptive suspension with Dinan Shockware should be pleasing. It also allows for the possible exception that you may have someone riding along who wishes to be more comfortable for that trip.

Thank you for your insights.
So do you know how the sport suspension compare to the adaptive one? What setting is it similar to?

I have not done first-hand comparisons, but my second-hand/hearsay understanding is that Sport on the MAdaptive is similar to the steel spring MSport. Others here may know more directly than I do.

The Dinan Shockware "chipping" of the MAdaptive programming takes Sport one step higher, while Comfort becomes equivalent to the original Sport.

The M240i comes from factory with the adaptive M suspension. There is definitely a difference from comfort mode. It is stiffer but not uncomfortable. I believe this should have been the default mode.
