39 Month Lease worth it?

I know 39 Month lease isn't ideal in November/December because you'll have to pay registration for 3 months of ownership.

But does anyone have good experience with this? Am I reading too far into the 39 month lease program? Or should I pay the slightly extra and do the 36 month?

I have a deal offered to me with 39 months, but that registration is the only thing holding me back.

Someone talk me into it please

If they are offering a 39 month lease deal, most likely at 36 months, you'll be offered a pull ahead. They do this so they can get low mileage cars on the lot for CPO. It's no guarantee, but this is generally what I see.

K. This is exactly what I was thinking and hoping for. At that 3 months left mark, they'll have aggressive deals and willing to do a trade for a new lease.
I think i'm sold.

Thank you.

Actually, I am getting ready to do a "pull ahead" on my current 135 for an M235. You can do a pull ahead when you have 6 months or less remaining on the lease. I am doing it with 6 months left on my current lease.

That's not how it works. BMWFS offers this when they wish, sometimes only for certain models. It is not automatic. I actually haven't heard of any pull ahead program since the middle of the year. You might just be in a position where your dealership is willing to take over your car to get you into a new one.
