Yes. Discharged is to customs, delivered is to VPC - there is no more tracking from WW since they've delivered it to their client. Hopefully you had no damage and can sail through the next steps. Three days in customs seems like a good turn around for a ED.

What's average time from delivered/VPC to a truck/the dealer?

The Aniara arrived on November 13, my 228xi arrived at the dealer in Pleasanton on November 19, and I picked it up on November 20. I am totally smitten with it. I will take pics after the rain lets up and after it gets Opticoated next week.

So, interesting story to relate. I stopped by my dealership today. My CA wasn't available, but another offered to help. He made up an excuse about where my original CA was and said he would assist me on the receipt, financing, final sale and delivery of the car. Mind you, I have been in communication with my CA since I put my deposit down in early Aug and was just swinging by today to get an update on arrival (sometime next week and this new CA told me it could be until Mid Dec until I can take delivery and he started mentioning changing financing terms I had already discussed and locked in with original CA). This guy today tried to bogart the sale right from under my guy. I immediately called him upon leaving the dealership to report what happened. I was surprised at the cliched sales tactics and stated as so to my original CA.

Mid-December seems like a long time. It took my dealership only a day to prep the car for me. I knew the car should have arrived at the dealer from talking to someone at the 800 number. One nice thing about finally getting the car is not having to deal with the sales process anymore which even at its best is not enjoyable.

No car as of yet and almost Dec 1st. Car was dispatched to the VPC on Nov 16th. Just hoping for a pre Xmas delivery at this point. I had planned a road trip to Phoenix from Denver along the old Route 66 remnants for next week. Looking like I will have to scrap it.

Wait. Your car is not euro delivery and you are being told mid December for pick up? There are guys on the ship that arrived to port on the 19th and airway have their cars. Call the 800 number with your vin or production number and speak with a live rep to see what's up. Unless there was damage, your car should be at your dealership.

I had some M Performance interior parts to be installed, but figured it would have shipped by now, so I am a bit annoyed at the delay. Plan to call tomorrow if I don't hear from my dealer.

Mine has been waiting for transport since last Tuesday (when the software update was finished; mine was ED) and they estimate departing the distribution center on Dec 3rd. In total, it will have been about 3.5 weeks from Aniara docking until I take delivery at the dealer.

These delays seem pretty out of the norm when examining other posts. Wonder what's the issue.

I was told there was a slight bottleneck. Maybe it was the 2 ships arriving within a week of each other plus thanksgiving? Who knows.

Chalking it all up to bad timing. Ordered right before the two week European vacation cycle and now this.

Perhaps it's an issue with the trucking company and the holiday. They initially told me it would be to the dealer by the 29th, then last week it was pushed back. Not sure how they schedule the frequently of trucks to each dealer.

Got the call. Car is at the dealer. Heading out of town on business and hopefully will be ready for pick up by the end of the week. Will post pics when I head out on my road trip with her this weekend. Planning a drive from Denver to Phoenix via some of the old Route 66 road and Route 40. Hope others on the Aniara have their cars!
