Recommended torque for 228i lug nuts?

Does anybody know what the recommended wheel lug nuts torque is for the 228i xdrive? I can't find any info anywhere.
Thanks

I torque at 105 as recommended by the service techs at my dealer. I recently painted my calipers and that is what I used.

Is it the same torque specs for the m235i/m240i? I'd assume yes, but I don't wanna make an ass out of u and me.

This is the same torque rating recommended for M235s.

I have been going nuts trying to find the correct answer. Some people say 88 ft lbs. Others say 103. My dealer says 88 for a RWD 228i.

Hmm. I did 105 on mine (I know it doesn't mean it's right).

Over torque can cause warped rotors, but torquing to 105 instead of 103 isn't going to hurt. 110 might be the absolute most I'd go.

Some people on the 2addicts Forum say 88 and others say 103. Tire Rack told me 103. However, my BMW dealer told that it is 88 for my 2016 228i Convertible. I'm not saying that is right, I'm just saying that is what they say they use. Is it possible that it varies by model or if you have XDrive Vs. RWD, etc?

It could very well be dependent on your model and year. I'd expect the 235/240 to torque higher than the 228/230. It's odd that the dealer and tirerack gave you two different settings though for the same car. It could be tirerack is wrong

It depends on the diameter of the bolt... older models required 88 but the F22 uses bigger diameter bolts which now require 103...

the dealer is wrong and tirerack is right...
