Front license plate mount

Is there a plate holder that will screw into the tow hook that works with pdc? I can't find anything online

Do a search on this forum. It has been discussed before.

The millworks one people have gotten it to work 95% of the time, but the millworks website says that they have one for PDC vehicles when you put in your vehicle information. I emailed them asking what made it different from the other options and never got a reply. Nothing but good things have been said about the millworks one, but I'm not going to spend $80+ on the unit to have a ton of problems.

I'm not going to search for a link on mobile but check my post history for a good thread on the mill works bracket. I'm happy with it despite triggering the sensor here and there.

The search function leaves A bit to be desired. But us millworks was brought up a few times. I read the issue with the sensors but they make for cars with pdc. So we will see if it works

If you get the one for PDC, post picture in this thread please. I've been wondering what makes it different and they don't seem to respond to emails.

Mine works now. M-Sport bumper. No issues since I removed and reinstalled. Managed to get it a little closer this time and now don't get the chime.

I've spent a fair amount of time trying to find the one spot where it works. Way more then I should have

Guessing you never got it to work :/ that sucks. Shouldn't advertise it as for PDC if it doesn't work properly. Have you asked for a refund?

I don't have the original invoice so it can't go back. I will try to sell it on Facebook. I went with them because everyone here used them and usm said the frame worked with pdc. I wouldn't buy from them again

I wouldn't give up. Is the sensor going off 100% of the time? My collision shop lost my half ball so I'm about to order parts right now. I'll try the upside-down mounting option this time and see if I can eliminate the few blips this time around.

I did the tow hook license plate mount a number of years back.. I told my salesperson that I wanted the front plate drilled and a temp plate installed on the new one.

They did so and told me that they would have done it for free on the old one if I "swung by"..

If it's not a pain in the ass, take your car in and ask......

It is a pain in the ass though with the PDC. They're so sensitive that it's picked up unless it's extremely close to the bumper unfortunately.
