Some of them are covered under warranty. I had mine changed before. I am attaching the PuMA document for evaluation of these cases. Hope it helps

My 2017 has similar indents, but not as large as yours. I see this on many of the leather seats in used cars. The longer the car is used, the more pronounced it becomes. Also the drivers weight can contribute to issue. Lighter weight folks leave less of an indentation.

Perhaps the seat covering can be tightened to remove those dimples but looking at mine, there doesn't appear to be edge that can be pulled to take up any slack. Also, aside from the leather stretching, the foam underlay may be compressed adding to the puckered appearance.

While we'd all like to keep out cars looking like showroom condition, sadly, through normal use, most will will not.

Don't know how long you've owned your car, but even with a warranty fix, the same issue will appear over time if you use the car. I believe it is the nature of the beast

Damn I literally weigh 150 lbs @ 181 cm. I'll try to get it checked through my service department though!

In before someone says their Lexus/Toyota leather was never like this and that BMWs quality is lacking with their switch of leather supplier.

But I just had my leather replaced due to abnormal wear and the leather has already loosened a bit. Under normal circumstances, loose leather will not be replaced. It who knows, maybe they will do it under goodwill but I doubt it.
