I think the F23 M240i xDrive models weight around ~1800 kg.

Weighed it again with a 1/4 tank of gas this time and came in @ 1410kg. Lightweight flywheel + composite hood should be good for another 15kg off the front axle...

I tried to reduce weight when I ordered my 230i, but there didn't seem to be any firm figures about weights.

Are there any figures from BMW regarding the actual weight saving for the Sunroof delete?

How much more the automatic transmission weighs than the manual?

How much the X-drive adds to the weight?

What's the weight difference with the 4-cylinder vs. the 6?

The manuals don't exactly help calculate weight of various options, but it appears that the automatic transmission adds just arounds 30 to 50 pounds. (the weight spec. shows a difference weight difference for the 230 compared to the 240.)

The 240 weights about 150 more than the 230, but the model differences are more than just the 6-cylinder engine.

Nothing in the manuals about weight of sunroof.

Also, X-drive adds around 150 pounds as well.
