So as my 2015 M235i is going on 7yrs old with just a tick over 50k miles I started thinking I should address the factory charge pipe before it fails I wasn't really looking for an upgraded intercooler but a Turner motorsports popped up in my search from ESC listed as a scratch and dent. They provided plenty of photos of the damaged fins everything looked repairable and the price was so low I had bought and payed for it before I could second guess myself. A $500 intercooler for less than the price of an eBay special. So about an hour of work straightening fins and a little touch up paint you would never know it had any shipping damage. I even was able to score a good deal on a CTS charge pipe on Presidents day just waiting on it to arrive. Looking forward to installing this in the near future

Congrats, OP, but you could have gotten MAD or BMS intercoolers instead for half the price, brand new, and with a better core density.

Unless you got it for a steal, that would change the conversation

Oof. I have an core on the car (which came with it) was around 10-12. It’s pretty terrible lol.

But that's why im saying that unless the price was too good to turn down (~$200) there are better options that you can get brand new

Well at $117 shipped and 30 min to straight out the bent fins well worth the gamble. For what I am doing maybe a very mild tune I think this will serve its purpose. I also live in the north east no lowmounted rad or intercooler survives undamaged for long
