Yeah...that 228i is nothing to sniff at. M-Sport, Sunroof and Tech package for me.....i'd be very happy with that car. Very descent car for the money. But if money's no object....yeah.....no doubt go for the 235.

I'd like to see a side-by-side comparision of the 228 M-Sport MT vs 235 MT. Maybe there is one....I just haven't see it.
Most of the press cars have been automatics, so there aren't a ton of 6MT reviews around. I'd expect that someone is going to do a side-by-side of the 228i vs M235i at some point. Motor Trend got a TON of mileage out of their 328i vs 335i story where the 328i came out ahead.

I pushed my M235i hard at the track at Watkins Glen a few weeks ago. I used the secret menu to display oil and coolant temps. I had no cooling or overheating issues at all during two track days.
