MG M235ix 19" VMR V701 Pilot Sport 4S

Here's my setup:

Wheels:
VMR V701 19x8.5 ET35
VMR V701 19x9.5 ET50

Pilot Sport 4S
225 19
255 19

I finally like looking back at my car. The stock wheels are just too blah IMO. The V701s look great, and they are well built too. VMR was very easy to work with, just as they were when I got V710s on my GTI.
The only downside is that I feel obligated to actually keep them clean.

Let me know what you think

Looks good, any plans for suspension? How are the PS4S's?

Thanks. No suspension plans. Its my daily and I drive in some pretty significant snow and over the occasional rock.

The PS4s have been great so far. I went on some spirited canyon drives and they performed very well, even when we encountered rain and snow. I never felt like they were getting upset, granted I have AWD. They are louder, but that's probably more to do with the 19"wheels.

I hear you on the ground clearance. A winter driven beater costs less than the annual front end damage in my neck of the woods, especially if you drive year 'round lol.. Even at stock height with no lip, the lower side valances would be in trouble. I have a 3M clear bra at the moment and it's saved me from some pretty significant shale stone damage. Impressions left in the film, but not paint..

Those tires should get better as they break in, too. Keep us posted! Cheers,

D

They were out of et45, if that would have mattered much. I'm not super wheel/tire literate.

These are the best I've got.

Thanks for posting! Great pictures! Those V701s should be much easier to keep clean than the V710s! Try applying a coat of wheel wax on them.
