Question on newest JB4
So I have the AA8 tune and like it quite a bit, but find that if I add 2 gallons of E85 and turn the dial 1 notch it's substantially quicker. I only did this for 1 tank because AA8 isn't designed to handle E85.
So, thinking of switching to Jb4 in spring. My question after looking at install guide, is that it looks like all new JB4's come with flex fuel wire plug and OBD connector. But also an option for EWG plug. If my setup is hi-flow aftermarket cat, maybe 2-3 gallons of E85, do I need this EWG plug or am I fine with using just map 2 on JB4 and avoiding the EWG plug as that plug seems to be the only tough one to get to on the JB4 setup? Thanks

Per Terry "4) For the N55 motor the wastegate harness is difficult to reach but the gains are considerable for more aggressive enthusiasts. Those who are using only map 1 may not want to bother. Those who plan to run map 2 or higher will benefit. Those who want to use race gas, meth, E85, etc, will see a huge benefit."

Last question; can you run Map 2 with hi-flow 200 Cell "catted DP" and 93 octane or is this just for catless?
Thanks

Boost gauge on fuel, scaling in dash is 0 to boost safety setting, turns on when gas pedal is pressed 50% or more and turns itself off when you resume low throttle use.

depends on your boost safety limit
If boost safety is 20 psi, half a tank is 10

If you aren't running a DME BT map like 5 6 or 7, you won't need them. Map 1 and 2 are additive boost maps that won't need the wires. But I would still get them for $30 more, it is nice to have the option ready.
