Looks like the article was taken down. The ordering guides for both the F30 and F22 have a manual option listed.
The 2016 BMW Build Your Own feature has been pretty disappointing. I wish it would go back to giving you more customize-able options, including adding M Performance Parts. We know the BMW group can make a good Build Your Own, because the 2015 one, at least for the F30 wasn't bad, and the Mini USA website has always let you pretty much fully customize a car. |

The BMWUSA configurator still offers the MT option. There has been some confusion since the 2016 order guide was originally published. It included 2 different versions of the 228i model: one with the N20 engine and one with the N26 engine. One of these models is 100% AT, and the other is 100% MT, according to the order guide.
