Seat alignment/calibration issue
Got a warning message just before shutting down yesterday on my 2014 M235i indicating a seat calibration issue which referred me to the owners manual. I'm 350 miles from home - what the heck is this all about?

From what I can see in the owner’s manual, it has to do with the air bag calibration. I’m guessing the system needs to verify the position of the seat periodically to determine if/when the airbag activates and with how much force. The manual makes it sound like if the calibration issue comes up frequently your car might need service.

Had to do this to both front seats. Worked like a charm. Very odd, nonetheless.
