14 M235i Windshield Cowl Replacement Help

I was replacing my windshield wiper cowl on my 235 and when installing the new one the passenger side end would not seat all the way down because of a metal tab not allowing the cowl to sit flush on the windshield. Am i doing something wrong?

This guy had problems with the apron/end pieces when replacing his - is that your issue? He said they go on last. I've not had to replace ours yet. Good luck! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8Yk...nel=AlbertCerf
