Enkei Performance M52

Has anyone fitted these rims to an M235i? Tire Rack says they are compatible, but I always like double checking. Anyone having fitment issues? I am really liking the design! Thanks!

I forget but call Enkei I believe certain lines of wheels accept OEM BMW center caps if that's of interest to you. I know Raijin is one that does. They are solid quality wheels. BBS is the other I'd look at too. The SR is very popular and similar design to what you're looking at.

They look pretty cool. Weight less than stock, too

Having the center caps would be nice, but not critical for me because all my OEM caps fall off anyway

I think they look ok but would prefer 19" staggered set with much wider back wheels.

I was going to go with 19's, but I don't want to decrease the aspect ratio of the tire. The roads in Minneapolis are not the greatest unfortunately

Ha I went down to 17" for shitty roads where I am. 19" I couldn't make it a week without a visit to the tire shop.

Yeah, I totally understand. They don't look the best, but you need to do what you need to do. So 18's it is!

Anyhow, has anyone run these rims or rims with the same dimensions (offset, diameter, etc.)? I'm thinking a 42mm offset should work ok all around, but I may be wrong!

18x8 +42 will be fine, have you seen the new Draco? Its 18x8 +35 and the SS05 is +40 but both of them are nice looking.

I was torn between those in hyper silver and the Alutecs I eventually got. If it helps, the Alutecs are 18x8 43 offset and fit really well. They fill out the wheel wells a little more than stock. I used the staggered sizes for my all-seasons I mounted on them.
Tire Rack was great; one of the wheels was dinged in shipping and they shipped a new one after a quick phone call and phone picture.
Here's how they sit at that size:

Fwiw order from TR and if the kffset doesn't work they'll ship a new set and send ups to pick the first set up. They did that for me with a 2 min phone call.

Just do not under any circumstances drive on them AT ALL. Makes the return process much more difficult. So don't leave car at shop then have them mount the wheels drive it to park it and you see it later. Literally stand there while the car is on the lift and watch them install one front and one wheel, drop it to see it on ground, and decide right there if you need to return everything. If you need to send back put car right back up in air and change back to stock.

Trust me it's annoying to sit there and wait but it's MUCH easier than causing problems that are easily avoidable.

Yeah I can imagine it is tricky to return them if they have any signs of wear. My local tire shop does a really nice job, so I am not too worried. But I will definitely be there to make sure everything checks out!

Got my rims delivered and mounted yesterday!

The fitment is great, no rubbing. And the 42mm offset makes the rim poke out to the fender flares! I also found that the BMW OEM center cap fits perfectly...better than in the OEM rim!

Enjoy!

P.S.-I am not a photographer.

Take look really good well done. Really like that you used the center caps too!

Not sure about Enkei caps you'd have to take a look but I sold my unused BBS ones for a LOT more than I thought they were worth on eBay.

Thank you! I ended up sticking the Enkei caps in the OEM rims, I use those for my winter wheels. They aren't as pretty as the BMW caps, but they will get the job done. The Enkei caps fit nice and snug in the OEM rim, so they shouldn't fly out. Saves me a little cash from going out and buying new BMW caps as well!

Thank you! I'm running 225 & 245. No spacers! Not sure on 19's, but they may they'd if you brought the aspect ratio of your tire down to the same diameter as stock.
