At the Port Awaiting Shipping Vessel
... and no shipping information is available at this time. My dealer has been checking daily for me, but no info yet.
I keep checking the WW tracking site too just in case. My vehicle completed production on March 5th, got to to the port on the 13th, and has been sitting there since. I read through the threads here and it seems like the time at port varies wildly. The car is bound for the east coast, and I keep hoping it will be on the next ship headed east. Anybody else's new ride sitting in Bremerhaven with my new m235i? |

I'm willing to bet that we are waiting for the Toscana to arrive at Bremerhaven on March 24th. Probably arrive in NY ~21 days based on it's prior schedule (2/16-3/9).
If she sets sail on the 24th then probably arrive ~April 15/16. http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/...vessel:TOSCANA |

I did find this schedule on the wallenius wilhelmsen website.
http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSched...pe=generatePDF The Freedom, Tijuca, and Boheme are all scheduled to leave Bremerhaven this week with stops in either Baltimore or New York. I'm really hoping that my car is on one of them. Those ships arrive in the US between April 6th and 9th. |

The K-line boats don't stop in New York, though.

My M235i has been at the port awaiting a ship since March 7...so I guess we're all waiting for that ONE boat so we can all sail together. Btw I'm in the East Coast as well (Chicago).

Yes. Car carriers that go to VPC Halifax Canada; eastern seaboard (VPCs in NY/NJ, Baltimore, MD, Charleston, SC and Brunswick GA); and left coast VPC Port Hueneme, CA.
I believe cars destined for your state goes via railway or overland trucking. One such 228i on our ship earlier this month went to its new owner in Dallas.

For those that are still waiting for ship assignment, I wanted to share a few things that might make your wait more bearable:
1. My car was received and loaded onto the ship about 12 hours before it showed up on the WW tracking site. This was the first place I got any indication that my car was leaving Bremerhaven. WW Europe-> North America Ship Schedule WW Tracking Page(vin in cargo ID field) 2. It was about 24 hours before the ship information showed up in my dealer's system. 3. Now, 2 full days later, both the BMW website and the 800 number still have not updated. So my current post-production timeline is currently: - 2 days from production complete -> released to carrier - 6 days from released to carrier -> at port awaiting ship - 7 days from at port awaiting ship -> enroute to USA |

Bimmercar, what message do you get when you call the 800 number? My M235 completed production on the 20th as well and is currently "Released to carrier awaiting transport to a port of exit".
