Hi everyone. I'm new to the board and to the BMW family (been driving a 350Z for the past 9 years).

I ordered a 2015 M235i on March 14th for a little over $46k with the following options.

Mineral White Metallic
Black SensaTec
Brushed-Aluminum trim with Black high-gloss accent
Driver Assistance Package
Technology Package
Manual Transmission
Enhanced USB and Bluetooth plus Smartphone Integration
Black Kidney Grills

My salesman sent me an email on April 2nd saying,
"Your M235 is "in production" status. Once it is "produced" you should be able to track it."

I'm not sure if those are made-up statuses or not, as they don't seem to line-up with other tracking statuses I've been seeing on here, but I'm not overly concerned.

I'm currently in the phase where it doesn't quite seem real, I'm not going crazy about the wait (yet), but I am constantly questioning all my order options.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience so far. This seems like a great board. Super excited to get the car and to be a member.

Call BMWNA 800-831-1117 and select the option for production status. Give your production number and you will get an update.

It looks like your M235 is entering production the same time as my 228i. My 228i is scheduled for completion on April 14.

Congrats! You can track as soon as the order is confirmed in the system. The CA (salesman) can give you the production number which is the key to tracking the car on line or via the phone.

I have very similar build with Mineral Grey.
and production begin date is similar.
according to 800 number april 8th is production finish date for me

TBro, congrats on your order. That'll be great news if my vehicle ends up being completed around that time as well.


I'll be sure to get a production number from my CA soon. I'm trying to limit my correspondence with him to once a week.


I'm also trying to ward-off the mod bug. I thought I grew out of wanting to modify cars, but this car is giving me the itch.
