I'll have to double check. You've got me curious so I will let you know if I find out. 90% sure its XPEL. The one I have is invisible. Its very hard to see unless you get down on eye level and start looking for lines. You cant tell its on there and the alpine white looks great and washes well thus far with no issues. I just thought the cutting around the emblem and other lines could have been better. It was thrown in on the deal so figured I cant complain to much.

Ordered the Dinan cold air intake today from Evan@Tischer aka getBMWparts.com - I sent out a few inquires to different Dinan dealers. By far the better of the rest in terms of quote. Should be getting it before the weekend. Excellent communication and fast shipping. Will certainly be dealing with getBMWparts.com again. Highly recommended!

Got the Dinan intake installed today. The metal plate for the snow valve was missing. Jimmy rigged it until the part arrives. Contacted Dinan and its getting shipped. Idk how to use a rivet gun, so I'll be getting someone to put that damn plate on when it arrives. I dont like how the cone is attached. It took me a few tries to get it to fit properly. No noticeable gains. You get more of the spooling sound is all I can tell from a brief drive around my area. no CEL as expected.

You won't get much in the way of HP gains until you combine the CAI with the S2 tune, which is developed for it.

Thats definitely the plan down the road. The diffuser and exhaust are next. I'll get there one day lol

The S2 + CAI will probably get you 0 - 60 in 4 sec flat in an M235i, I think. Personally I would sacrifice all aesthetic mods to get this setup first.

You have a very good point. My idea is to try and enjoy the car for a bit stock. I haven't even got to 1200 miles yet on the break in. I am definitely getting a tune. Might be sooner than later.

Received and added the Dinmann Carbon Fiber Diffuser. I wrote up a thread on it seeing its kinda hard to find info on.

http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1256281

Dinmann is now a sponsor here and the diffuser is very nice! I really like the aggressive stance it has and with some bigger / extended tips will really seal the deal from behind. Its worth the price of admission. Right now Dinmann is offering the first 5 at a discounted price.
