I like the Cars and Coffee idea but there are some things with naming that we may want to think about if we plan on organizing it and having more than 3 people there. There is plenty of room in the Sandhills parking lots to have get togethers. With the exception of holiday traffic of course.

I'm used to driving up there for cars and coffee every month before I started working most Saturdays. I drive a ton for work in my 228 and I'm getting awesome mileage. What day of the week works for everyone?

Go 50% all around (sides and back). It'll make your ragtop look a lot better.

50% is light enough so that the po-po can easily see the driver and passengers, so you shouldn't run afoul of any tint law.

Pics 1 & 2 are of my current 2016 M235xi ragtop with the 50% tint.
Pic #3 is of my former 2015 228xi ragtop which also had 50% tint all around - which shows the tint a bit better.

Thanks. Went ahead and got the tint today. I think it came out nice. Will post some pics when I get a chance.

I went a bit darker than 50% - more like 27% - it can get damn hot in south carolina

Sounds like a good plan. I really enjoy mine. I did 5% in the rear, 15% front two, and I'm not gonna say what I did to the other window.
