In the pictures is that without extension adapters? Seems more flush than most i've seen without the adapters, normally its more set back into the diffuser.

Thanks!

Correct, the picture are with NO adapters... they look good in the one picture because of the angle... they sat about 3" from where they are supposed to be

Hey OP,
Looking good. Is your MP diffuser matte or did you paint it? More pics?

It's just how it comes from the BMW, flat black/primed

I'd share more pics but I'm traveling without my computer, once I get back I'll share some!

You can paint it or leave it like it is, it'll look good!

Thanks! there's nothing like the .:R sounds.. (at least for the price.. lol)

UM makes awesome stuff, I had UM on my MK6 R and it was amazing! I'm planning on doing UM for my b7 avant (2.0T)

Your car is looking really nice. I wonder if you could give me some advice on the wheels. I am thinking of ordering the exact same wheels. I want to run the same size tires as you have on my stock M235i. I'd like more rubber but I don't want to rub under any circumstances.
I was told to order 19x8.5, et 44 with 235/35s on the front and 19x9, et53 with 255/30s on the rear. I really want to go up to 265s and plenty of people seem to be doing it and I also want to run 9.5s in the rear but I was told that 9 is just so much better for this car. Since these are custom wheels there is so much more configuration flexibility.

Do you have any rubbing at all? Do I need to drop or go negative camber to run your setup?

My car is lowered as you can see, on H&R springs, which lowers the front quite a bit more than Dinan's.. my wheels specs are:
19x8.5 et40 235/35 Hankooks
19x9.5 et45 265/30 Hankooks
Original alignment specs... at least to my knowledge

I had the front fender rolled and SLIGHTLY pulled, when hitting a bump or pothole while taking a turn it rubs. I see other people saying that they are running low and with Michelin PSS's they don't rub... maybe it's just Connecticut roads apparently..

I think those offsets that you are mentioning could work with the car stock but at the same time they seem awful high maybe with the 9's rears instead of the 9.5 is the trick! but the tire will be big... and if you run lower offsets you're going to have a lot of poke.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the info. Yeah, the rears would have a slight bit of pinch, but not as much as the stock wheel tire setup. I am thinking of installing Dinan springs which would settle it down but not as much as H&Rs. I may end up with just 255 MPSSs in the rear since they run wider. I guess you'd have more concavity with 9.5s...decisions.

Any way you can upload some pics of the rear showing your poke?
