as far as future mods, intake+exhaust for performance gains or aesthetics/sound?

I really wanted both for my 228i but realized from the forum that the performance gains on both are minimal vs price paid. but hey ! don't let that stop you, your car will sound beast :P

Im looking for a nice sound from the intake and the exhaust. The sound of the DP, Exhaust, Intake and all the future mods will sound like a beast like you said! Haha

I just installed the JB4 Stage 2 on my 228i and WOW! it makes a huge difference I'm waiting for the Downpipe to arrive to start running on map2.

Also installed the M Performance Front Lip.

Did you try stage 1 by any chance or just go to Stage 2?

Would love to see if you see huge difference after Map 2 & DP

Started with the Stage 2 because I'm going to install DP and with the Stage 1 you will have a CEL.

I'm not afraid! The N20/26 can handle a DP, Intake, FMIC, CP and JB4 and be a bullet. Compared to stock N20/26 my car feels very quick. Did a quick pull with a 228i fully stock and I didn't even see him after 100+MPH I only have JB4 and Catless Downpipe. Still having the "boost safety" problem, haven't bought the USB Data Cable for the JB4 to fix that.
