The face has grown on me over the course of the day. The rest of the angles are devine however. Especially the cabin. Helmet storage?!?! Fuck yea!

I think the problem I have w/ BMW design language is they are moving away from something that is coherent and solid and moving to a lot of this busy, messy, language. I'm pretty thankful the angles and vents and the no-roof-line ppl stayed away from the 2'er...

To wit, these lines are what made the E9 for me. Plus, the Volvo Concept Coupe. Strong lines, strong character, less visual distraction and business. This is more CSL than the CSL homage to me...

Read between the lines bits of this design will form the basis of a special M car launching next year for the 100 anniversary. Think back to the E30 Sport Evo

I do like it as I previously stated but having just woken up, it's "time ta play."

Suddenly, the oversized kidney grills are reminiscent of Sid's Teeth:

Not everyone has the money at the moment for an M3/4. Apart from that, I can't argue to fact that the M4 delivers on the looks department. That thing is gorgeous

Hmm so I just read some more and
it seems it's M6 size. So realistically the M2 is nothing like this at all. The most recent M2 sighting thread is also a little disappointing to my eye. It's not looking that wide, CF roof, bespoke bonnet Mand M mirrors are all still missing.

Feels like the M2 might pass me by now unless there are some surprises coming.

Starts saving for whatever the100 year anniversary M car might be.....

If you read the main post by Scott you will see there will be 2 concepts next year that will wear the CSL badge and have wider bodywork and lightweight features. The concept shown here will be the reference for those cars. One of those could be a M2 built for the 100th anniversary. If they then go into production they will be very low volume.
