Wow...very thorough. Thanks for the analysis! The suggestion of a "sunken" area forward of the rear wheels (mimicking the Vision's vent) is particularly interesting.

Right there with you about Geneva...

Thanks, a lot of effort has gone into that and appreciated, I'm not sure there is anything new here though?

Vents = VGT6
Side Exhaust = VGT6
Rear Wing = VGT6
BMW Badge @ Hoffmesiter Kink = VGT6
Massive Width = VGT6
Rear Vents Like a Mid Engine Car = VGT6
Massive Drop = VGT6
Massive Rear Diffusor = VGT6

Rear Panels Flare = Still Camo'd
Vertical Vents in rear valence = Likely
Front Splitter Fangs = Yes
CF Roof = ?
Bonnet Dome = ?
Wheels = ?
Seat style = ?

Vision GT > M2 > M235i

Need that Geneva concept pronto....if it is to be Geneva.....

Yeah man, nothing but the best right there. I had to have an extra coffee this morning and forward the phone and just dream accordingly.

Great work!

I hadn't seen a consensus or significant insight on the area in front of the rear fender yet, and many people seemed confused/unsure what was going on. So I just pulled all of the lines together from the three different cars to show what I think is the most likely outcome.

Bonnet Dome is what I really hope will make production...

Sounds like a 21st century adaptation (with ± 370 horses) of:
- King Richard: "A horse, a horse! My kingdom for a horse!"
- Catesby: "Withdraw, my lord; I'll help you to a horse."
(William Shakespeare, Richard The Third, Act 5, Scene 4)

SCOTT26 posted the following in the "M2 at Geneva Motor Show?" thread (http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1081359).

Let's see if BMW pulls an M2 rabbit out of its hat, in a month from now, during the 85th International Motor Show and accessories in Geneva (5 to 15 March 2015):

Air intake vents or not on the M2 test mule ?

This fresh BMW cookie, on the other hand, undoubtedly features them.

I'm first on the list at my dealer and really want to see a radical departure from current offerings.
Do you mind me asking when you were added to the list? I went to my dealership inquiring about the M2 in October and was surprised to be #3!

(I'm in the Twin Cities too btw)

Waow, that's a good looking prospect.

IMO if the fenders on some M2 street legal version would look nearly as good as that GT6 version, it would cannibalize the 6 series/M6 and even I8 sales. So I'll support everyone hoping, but it's just too good to be true.

What do you think, Adem1534

Wheels should be 5-spoke though, instead of the M359 wheels.

Really hoping something is enhanced with the bootlid. Either a m4 style curvature / E46 CSL style boot, or just a high arch CF spoiler.. Anything but the current trunk, looks so pedestrian.

Added to the first post in this thread: the following two interesting stills from the BMW Vision Gran Turismo video (GT6 Concept).

Maybe some inspiration for the M2 and/or M2 CSL ?

You can find the GT6 Concept video here.

For the record: SCOTT26 about the likely 'trickling down' effect of the GT6 Concept design for the M2 and/or M2 CSL design (February 2015):

Seriously , all I have seen are sketches , studies and schematics for the M2 I have not seen a finished production model more of work in progress. But I have seen two specific sketches that either portray one car or indeed further progress.
So I have seen Carbon roofs in these sketches but I cannot confirm if one will be used or indeed optional. A Carbon roof has been developed for the 2er so it is feasible.
Those sketches retain the visual look of the Vision GT but as I have mentioned numerous times before brought into more realistic (for the road) purpose so what you have to do is look at the Vision GT and mentally make it more realistic by shrinking areas , pushing elements into the body etc. and then you get your M2.
Surprising this has been overlooked even though it has been available.

SCOTT26 was this car the recent 3.0 CSL car?

Aremis, would you mind doing the negative treatment on the headlight? I believe the line from the corner of the headlight hugs the headlight rather than like the Vision GT6 where it runs an inch below the bottom of the headlight.
