I got some curb rash on my winter rims, I will sand it smooth and need to get matching paint.

Does anybody know the Color? I don’t need the rims to look perfect, they are my winter tires. They are the stock rims

They're either Ferric grey or Orbit grey. Do some research to see the difference. You might be able to tell from the markings on the back of the wheel. Good luck!

Your wheels likely have both Orbit Grey and Ferric Grey stamped on the back side of each wheel's spokes. I guess BMW was thinking: 1) buy the unpainted wheels; then, 2) decide which color to paint them?

Yours look Ferric Grey (the lighter color). Below are three sites I recorded a few years ago as offering Style 436M paint colors; I don't know if they're still offering paint for our wheels.

Strange.. they're definitely the lighter colour ferric grey though, same as mine.

Looks like the colour code is A80

No idea.

I wonder if contacting a local BMW dealer would yield something definitive. It would seem that they should know.
