My daily commute is basically 50 miles of 80 to 100 miles/hr on the toll highway. In sport mode it sound good when I’m accelerating, but when I started to cruise at it’s too loud and I don’t like switching back and forth between sport and comfort. I still want the throttle response when I need to over take.
The noise have a deep base resonate and after a while it gets annoying if the sound doesn’t change by decelerating and accelerating.
After I disabled the sound it honestly feels like a spaceship, if you ignore the wind noise at 100 miles/hr. Plus I changed my warning tone to Rolls-Royce so it’s extra premium, lol 😂

Install TechnicPNP bypass harness? Or code out?. Easy delete of fake engine noise with PNP.

I tried coding it out also. It lasted about a week and I turned it back on.

I also noticed the silence is worse than fake noise. I ended up swapping speakers from the base HIFI and whatever I did with the car, it sounds quieter and less buzzy.

I used the harness also, but it was so long ago I forgot what it sounded like before!

I personally feel more in tune with the car without ASD. You can hear where all the sound is coming from, I find ASD kind of confuses my ears V’s hearing the engine/exhaust sound.
