The Fast Lane Car reviews the 2015 Audi S3 against the 228i coupe and takes both onto the track and drag strip.

The 2015 S3 features 292 HP / 280 lb-ft torque and pricing starts at $41,100.

The 2015 228i has 240 HP / 255 lb-ft torque and pricing starts from $32,100

It's pretty clear that this show only uses these particular cars because that's all they could get their hands on. These guys aren't very helpful in any of their reviews.

I thought I was the only one who thought there videos are some of the worst reviews on the Internet , they are hard to watch for me a high school AV club (if they still have AV clubs) could put together better editing and the host don't make it any better. Their test of a m235i vs ISF was laughable , it was less then an 1/8 mile and at high altitude, I love watching the m235i win drag races on YouTube but c'mon that's not fair a Na motor to FI at 8000 feet. FLCDHJG or what ever it's called sucks

Of all the German cars with worldwide distribution, Audi's cost the most to keep running after they go out of warranty. With significantly less rated horsepower the 228i is faster in a straight line and around the track. That's impressive.

It just goes to show how underrated that N20 really is. My wife absolutely loves her 228 M sport. I never drove it and wished it had more power for her. Its still seriously fast. I bet it eclipses the 1/4 in under 14 sec, if that matters to anyone on here.

What is the Argument for Audi or the S3 here? I saw a gray S3 at my local dealer and it was, well like the color gray, dull and boring looking. I have yet to see an S3 with a window sticker under 50K

Audi argument to some people use to be well the quattro is the best in the world. Ok. So. Its better then x drive...yeah it is. That's great, but I just need my car to not get stuck in a snowfall on the way to work. I dont need to claim the best AWD in the world. Shit any awd system will do. So in conclusion the x drive has been fine to me when we owned one. Never got stuck.

M Sport 228i takes it just plain on looks here. Im not bias or anything

the last 228 I drove was less entertaining than any recent Audi I've driven....in fact most Audis have better steering than the mega electronic 228 steering, IMO. BMW is rapidly losing their advantage...
