Question ANNOYED with US Millworks - M235 or M-Sport Nose?

OMG.. soooo annoyed with US Millworks. Over the course of 3 weeks, Multiple emails. Multiple calls. Even reached out via FaceBook. Not one response.

Soooo.... maybe somone here can help.

I want to buy one of their plate holders. (I've NEVER worked so hard to give a company my money).

For the F22, their dropdown selections are:
F22 M-Sport Nose
F22 M235

My question is... isn't the M235 an M-Sport... hence doesn't it have an M-Sport nose?? What am I missing?

TIA

Garage List
ECS Tuning just came out with a front plate kit for the F22. It looked pretty good to me. You might check out their version if you can't reach US Millworks.

You have a M235i yes? So choose the M235i with or without parking sensors depending on your car, hit buy?

I understand what you are asking, but I don't see the problem as you already have an option that suits your car.

M Sport nose would probably refer to the 228i/230i with M Sport pack.

As stated above

M-sport nose, is in reference to the M-sport pack for the 228i/230i

Agreed. Their service sucks but the product is very well made. I've had mine for almost 2 1/2 years and the finish is still perfect.

I disagree on the service aspect...at least in my experience. Very prompt response when I asked if my mount for my former F31 would work for the then new MINI R59...quick answer...needed another mounting post as lengths were different.

When I "misplaced" my quick release mounting/cotter pins, and couldn't find them locally, a quick internet purchase resulted in a packet of replacement pins mailed to me within the week.

YMMV..but am very happy with their quality product that protects your plate from most car wash (yeh..I know...I live in a winter climate). Best if you put a frame around the plate so that brushed can't "catch" the license plate edge.

Ah HA! Yes. That makes sense. Forgot that was an earlier option.

mounting the millworks plate hanger without constantly tripping the parking sensors is tricky. see other threads. some people are putting foam behind in-between the number and the back of the plate. I finally took mine off and just stuck my plate on with double sided tape.

I put my plate on vertically with the millworks. Parking sensors work and the cops think I’m a tool.

If I did not already have holes drilled in my bumper I'd consider this:

just get the $21 ebay one. They will all set off the parking sensor unless you get extremely creative.

Or get the hide a plate, this is pretty cool with the remote.

I asked the same question and the reply I got was that they are the same. Glad to see I wasn't the only one confused.
