I found the list of recommended adapters on the Bimmercode website and realize I should be going with one of these, however, in all but the Kiwi 3, reviewers have complained about connection issues with Bimmercode.

I am running iPhone 7plus (iOS). The ones recommended are bluetooth, though I know that before Bluetooth 4, the iPhone would not connect to these via bluetooth so I had previously bought an ELM327 Gemcom WiFi adapter which works well on my other cars.

My question...does anyone else use the ELM327 from Gemcom or similar with Bimmercode? Issues??

Anyone else use an adapter other than what Bimmercode recommends with no issues? Not sure I want to spend $100 for the Kiwi 3...not yet anyway.

Never heard of that one. You've used it with no issues maintaining connectivity in Bimmercode?

No my mistake. I use that one for OBD fusion. This is what you need for Bimmercode.

Awesome...reviews for those using it with Bimmercode look good (except one). Will order it, appreciate the help.
