AC Schnitzer carbon front flippers

Hello all. Previously I had the M performance front splitter installed. Unfortunately, I bashed it a few times a couple of months ago while going down steep carparks. I live in Hong Kong where the carparks are a nightmare. My suspensions are stock, ride height stock. The M performance splitter diminishes the ground clearance significantly even with stock suspensions, especially in steep carparks. I plan to change suspensions so I couldn't live with the MP splitter anymore.

Enter the AC schnitzer carbon front flippers! It looks simple yet elegant. And best of all, the ground clearance is MUCH better than the MP splitter. Went through a couple of carparks and so far no problem. Ground clearance with mildly lowered suspensions should be fine. It was straight forward DIY. 4 steps in total: 1) sandpaper 2) clean 3) glue and 4)secure with tape. It took a bit more than 2 hrs in total with an extra pair of hands to help out.

Sure, it's more expensive than the MP splitter, but if I had the choice, given the steep carparks here, I would have gone with the AC flippers in the first place and save cost on the MP splitter plus multiple paint jobs.

I really like it! ¿How much did they cost you? I also have clearance problems on my carpark, I think the lightweight lip is also a good solution.

Picardias: I got it for a bit less than USD$1500. It is a probably a bit cheaper to buy in UK or Europe due to better exchange rates.

Icy J: Yes, I agree.

Are you happy with your lightweight full splitter?
It seem so thin, but they claim durable.
Does it make the front any lower?
Is it mat or gloss black?
Thanks

Hi there. Thanks! The AC front flippers are fantastic. I have lowered the car by about 1 cm with KW's V2. No problems with getting in and out of steep carparks now whereas I was bashing my old MP splitter with stock suspensions previously. Looks great. Fits great. Nothing to complain about!

I wish there were some options for the regular 228 front bumper. This looks great OP.

Very happy. It is actually pretty thick and extremely durable. No worries there. It makes the front lower by about 3/4 of an inch. It is gloss black.

I absolutely love the look of these splitters, but almost $1500 for two small pieces of carbon fiber is downright insulting.

These look amazing but the price is insane...!! $700 would be bad and that's half what they are selling these for... All AC schnitzer products are outrageously priced... They do look Nasty tho
