Steering feel variations

For those who driven m235 and 228 m-sport with PSS. Does the steering and overall handling feels similar?

I don't think he is talking about vibrations more about how the 228 handles compared to m235.

Correct.
I am surprised no one cross shopped them.

i tried them both and felt the M235i had a bit more grip at the limits. as far as steering feel goes, i think it's very subjective, which explains why you see some reviewers praise the steering feel of 2 series and others say it is crap. personally, i think the steering is a bit numb when going straight but gets much better when you dial in some steering angle. back in the day i had an integra type r that had way more feel than either one of these cars.

I agree, at least the 228i doesn't have a ton of feel (can't comment on M235i). What the 228i has, though, is precision! I can not believe how incredibly precise and responsive this steering is. That's *almost* a problem because combined with the lightness of the steering, you must pay close attention. If you're not careful, road bumps, arm adjustments, etc can cause you to provide input to the steering. The tiniest of movements of the wheel will have a real effect on the direction of the car. This is magnified somewhat by the M Sport wheel versus the base model wheel.

I do wish the steering was heavier, but I very much appreciate how precise it is.

It's disappointing to hear the steering feel and heft have not been improved from the F30.
My 135i's steering feel and precision were excellent.
My 335i Msport, not so much.

I was hoping BMW fixed the EPS for the 2 series, but from comments here seems they failed.
I have yet to test drive a 2 for myself.
Hope it's not like my 335i.
