I wonder if the editors of consumer reports considered badging in their report on the 235i? Wow just think , might have been first instead of second if it was not for all those badges.

I have polled at least 50 people; some BMW owners and some not. In general only a handful knew anything about what an M car is. Most had absolutely no idea; a couple driving a 7 series was not even aware what the M cars are about. M owners obviously know what an M car is as well as BMW aficionados. The majority of people could care less.... Too much time has been wasted over the stupidity or not of M badges... Go have sex instead!

Not sure why we need so many M Badges? One on the back trunk works just fine IMO. The important part is how the car performs.

My badge take
The whole issue is merely between us and other M owners, the public could care less. I did remove my side badges (too small and looked stupid imho).
Could go this route: My current tag is E93V8, which I must change. Maybe F22I6T?
