Rain streaks on doors and back of trunk

My car is mineral white and seems to have very apparent dirty streaks after it rains. Is this normal? It starts from the side view mirrors and goes straight down. Eventually it even gets on the door sill.
Is there a certain gutter of the car I should be cleaning out or something?

I have mineral white and I don’t get what your getting below the mirror but I do get similar to you in door and trunk sill - however in the summer when I wash weekly it goes away.

There is probably some dirt stuck between the gaps and it's getting dissolved into the rainwater and then stuck on your paint. The other theory is that there is some sort of mineral or impurities in the water/air where you are and when the water evaporates the impurities stay on your paint.

I think the shape of the mirrors holds water causing that drip. I get it every time I wash the car.

I make a habit of towel drying the underside of the mirrors numerous times and even will open/close the door once to "shake out" the retained water.

Same thing with trunk opening. Run a towel thru the trough all the way down to the bumper edge to clear the moisture.

Fun fact: when washing/drying your car fold in the mirrors. You'll see what seems like a gallon of water come out of them when you fold them in.

I have done that. In fact, I put a large water glass under it and have a drink

This is exactly what I do! There is always a ton of water in there. I leave them up while I dry the rest of the car.
