My BMW Remote App Send to Car Issue

I have been using my bmw remote app without a problem, but recently, ‘send to car’ feature doesn’t work. I mean sending destination to car. Do you guys have this issues recently? It might be problem with google maps?

I had some issues with it a few days ago, but it seems to be working now.

Wasn’t working yesterday,but working now. First time in my life I thought “my car’s server is down”.

mine was doing this when I first bought it CPO. I brought it in to the dealer for that and some iDrive reboots. they flashed the car and it started working from the app. I still haven't gotten Google maps send to car to work but I also haven't tried too hard since I always use the app from my phone.

Getting ready to leave for a 5 hour drive up to Toledo tonight. Sent the info this morning and a quick check at lunch found the message in Connected Drive. Mine has always worked. One of my favorite features.

Yeah mine was down on April 22nd which was a Sunday morning. No remote functionality or traffic. Trying to use BMW connected drive when in the car resulted in server busy errors and a try again later. It worked later on in the day so I just assumed it was server maintenance or unexpected downtime on their end.
