My version of Bimmercode no longer has the 5 blink option. What version do you have?

Roof and trim wrapped, windows tinted. Now if it ever gets above freezing I can install the new grill too.

Installed painted reflectors! (Don't mind the salt from the wonderful New England roads...). I broke a clip on the 2nd reflector but not the first, go figure.

just received the bimmer master pieces larger knee rest.

got it in black alcantara and white stitching to match the cluster cover and other alcantara in the cock pit.

it's not actually that thick and seems pretty expensive for what it is. but so be it. should look.good fitted.

Took my 228ix in for it's first service. Only 8800 mi. after 1.5 years. I just drive it locally. Oil change, micro filter and annoying horn that intermittently goes from loud to mellow sound. And a small fluid leak at rear. Where could that be coming from. I saw a 2018 230ix in the showroom. Burnt orange exterior/oyster white interior. Loaded for 54K. Beautiful combo.

Installed the black dry carbon fiber interior trim this evening. Wow, what a nice change from the blue hex trim that came with my M240. Everything went in just fine. There is a great YouTube video about changing interior trim that was a big help. Changed out all 5 pieces in about 20min. Vents were a bit tough to switch to the new trim, but if you're careful it works out just fine. Pics to follow soon. Was too dark after the install and wash to get anything worth looking at.

Laid a nice coat of wax for the spring after a foam cannon wash and clay. Then went to Cars and Coffee.

Started mine up. Gave her its bi-monthly warm up while we're patiently awaiting the arrival of warm weather and the snow leaving. Not much fun just sitting there in the garage.

That's why I got one I could drive in the snow. It has been a delightful winter. Of course the foam cannon clay people will mock me but meanwhile I'm having fun.

Very nice. Does this go over the existing casing or do you remove and replace existing one?

Great winter car so far on Blizzaks - neutral to mild oversteer- great fun in DTC mode! - had a nice road trip to and back to Chateau Montebello last weekend with GF and this weekend (2 hr solo road trip to pick up some objects left behind - sports mode, along the Ottawa river).

Easiest install ever. Loosen the two screws that afix the gauges, unit basically clips over the top of the binnacle (grabbing the edge) and is pinched in place when those two screws are tightened. Secure and precise fit. Looks OEM.
