Well there you go. I didn?t do well in physics but something about that meter per second per second mass thing leads me to believe hit anything going fast enough is bad. 10lb raccoon shoved into car at 100 mph you got off easy tbh.

Yeah I'm glad I got off this easy and it's only "minor" it could have gone way worst but I'm still sad I hit that raccoon and it did what it did to my front end

Not so much for you but for others reading this. Always hit the animal! If you can?t safely stop don?t swerve into traffic to avoid an animal and end up killing people. I once heard about a woman who killed her kid by running into a telephone pole after swerving to miss a deer. It sucks but it?s the lesser of two evils.

Maybe he was illegal. Ask Trump, Mexico should probably pay for the repairs.

Nope....Hucksterbe quoted the prez as saying "Liddle Rocky was fully domesticated, only gets hit by the best cars, and went to the best veteran for O'care treatment." How's he doing now...the answer was, "We'll see."

Garage List
Sorry to hear about your accident and glad it wasn't more serious (albeit pretty terminal for the raccoon, sadly).

I live in southern England and a few years ago was en route to HQ and pulled-over because a car had stopped after hitting a large animal. The legs only were still sticking out of the front grille (an old Volvo estate).

I realised it was a Wallaby. Indigenous to the Australian continent but not known to migrate the 9500 miles to West Sussex, England.

Turned out there's a breeding Wallaby population in the area, escaped from a big country estate where they were imported in the 19th Century. We also have llamas, bred for their wool, that escape from time to time.

I just wondered what the reaction was when he submitted his insurance claim.

Frederica says Trump has no sympathy for the raccoon.

He apparently called the raccoon's wife and told her that her husband knew what he was signing up for when he went on a late night mission.
