Really clean, Notice you got the M Performance stitching for the shift knob, but did you opt out of getting the M Performance shift knob? (nevermind read the above post) lol

Ended up already having the lightweight lip on order before I changed my mind and went with the other Mperformance parts... Figured Id get some use and or scrapes and test out the use of this current front lip but I will be ordering the M front lip in the near future. The side blades actually came in within 4 days, I currently am waiting for the side vinyl for them to complete it but just ordered those last week with a processing status so will see what comes of those!

Clean M235i bro! Very close to my build, minus the moon roof delete. I almost got it but the little lady of the house wanted a moon roof.
Thanks for taking the time to post your upgrade feedback. I think I'll be going with a 15mm wheel spacers until I decide the right set of rims for mine. My M235i was supposed of arrived early this week but ran into delay unfortunately. Very disappointed to say the least seeing everyone posting pics of theirs. Congrats again! |

Sorry to make you feel bad, Every so often I miss my red since that was my love on my prior M3 but the red interior makes up for it ;D
ESS stage 1 tune coming soon to bump her right into the 400 range, I can't wait to waken this car up as my only complaints as of now are the lack of power I'm used to come mid 3rd gear... lacking that extra "mmmmphhh" compared to where my M3 would deliver. BBS LM'S a bit farther down the line or might just splurge on some VMR v703s as I do like VMR and have had great results with them in the past with no issues or complaints just great compliments Last edited by shane060; 10-02-2015 at 10:28 AM.. |

Thank you very much. Went with ESS due to they have been in the "game" and imo put out stellar products and builds. Main reason is due to not having to do any wire tapping or splicing to get new proper data readout through my factory power display and as well my P3 gauge. (So I was told directly by them after asking in regards to that concern) Otherwise I would go with the Scorcher after reading Delnaris research and reviews of all the tunes pretty much available right now.

So i have your twin and ave been debating wheels for some time now! Purely subjective, but I feel that the 501M is a little busy for our car. I'm all in on thinking outside the box, but these don't fit all the curves of the F series....

Thanks for your response! I honestly think I am going to end up going with some VMR wheels for now v703s I think they flow perfectly with the subtle yet few aggressive lines of the 2!

Updated With Coated Rims
Just bit the bullet and had a local guy who is amazing with dipping products spray my wheels matte black for a quick $100. I wanted to enjoy the factory wheels a bit longer while at the same time researching and saving for wheel and tires down the line. The results are amazing as I am not a fan of anything half ass with spraying or dipping, fake parts even so replica stuff but my god this made such a difference against the MG! It obviously give the car more contrast against the body and overall make it way more aggressive appearance especially in person... I am totally happy I did this due to I could have a more aggressive look while still contemplating future wheel setup and I also spent some money on a Stage 1 ESS tune SOOO can't beat that at all haha... Looking forward to doing a review on the ESS tune and getting this baby into the 400 club!

Fabspeed sport catted dp installed and now awaiting AFE scorcher module for extra increase in power bump! Decided to go with the AFE module due to the same reasons some of the others did. Less wires, easiest to install per say and the $ to power is cheap and great for what the product delivers. Also with my route of not wanting to go any further in modding or power so BMS or JB4 was really out of the picture for me... Heck I even went catted dp vs cattless Im one of the few who likes to keep it simple but borderline I guess lol...
As far as the Fab Speed catted dp goes, well my god the product is AMAZING. The power and transformation it did to the car in terms of power throughout the range and waking the car up overall is spot on! each gear is like its previous one before the dp so for instance 3rd was lacking in power and now it feels like 2nd gear stock and 4th gear feels like 3rd its just amainzg how much the car pulls now it was quite shocking I won't lie! Also the sound paired up with MPE is AMAZING!!!!!! so much more exotic in tone and the pops and fires are too legit I can't wait to get the tune on and be in the 400 range, my next challenge is searching for tires and getting 265s on the back! One member was showing dyno of 330whp and 350wtq just with the damn downpipe on. I seriously can't wait for this little scorcher module and the 40hp and 80wtq claims to see what its like added in with the DP and MPE Makes me think twice now about the 2015 Mustang GT that was so persistent on a cat and mouse/follow the leader game the other day.... come to think of it all three times he never even came close to being able to overtake me as I literally walked away from him like it was a joke.... Coming from my 2011 M3 I think My M235 is faster just with the damn downpipe and again this little scorcher module is going to be the icing on the cake! |
